Pinus ponderosa

Pinacea family. Leaves are acicular, or needle like. Needles are five to seven inches long, attached to twigs in bundles of three needles per fascicle. Bark is thick and deeply furrowed, color can vary from orange, brown or grey depending on age and condition of tree.
